Repair Cafés
A Repair Café is a welcoming place where anyone can come to repair their used items with the help of volunteers.
The goal is to extend the lifespan of objects, reduce waste, and promote the sharing of knowledge.
How does it work?
- A place open to everyone: Repair Cafés are usually held in public spaces such as libraries, community centers, or neighborhood centers.
- Expert Volunteers: Volunteers—often enthusiasts of DIY and repairs—offer their skills to help participants.
- All items are welcome: You can have household appliances, clothing, bicycles, toys, and more repaired there…
- A time for conversation and sharing: Repair Cafés are also opportunities to meet other people and share repair tips.
